I had no idea my capstone project would be so... big. Sure, I'm glad I didn't have to write a thesis but wow, this is a lot of work. My midterm is due next Monday (9 days) and I'm not sure how it will all get done before then, especially since I have entered the 'insane period' at work. This is the very last thing I will do for my degree. And I should be done with it in late July so the end is in sight.
I'm trying my hardest not to let senior-itis (or summer-itis) sink in but I'm at the point where I am resenting my project which is keeping me from ... well, at the moment it is keeping me from seeing Brad Pitt and George Clooney in Oceans 13! (I am DEEPLY resenting this at the moment).
I'm just not caring, which saddens me. It is an awesome project I could not wait to start. As soon as I finish up with school, some of my free time will be looking for career opportunities so I think I'm just going to have to get used to the idea of small projects for a little while longer.
I am happily knitting during my study breaks. I just have to be strong and not start looking at those as 'knitting breaks' instead of "a brief break from my studies".

Hmmm... this might explain why you are trying to enable me with that "helpful link" to a yarn sale! hehehe... I think soon I may be burned out on washcloths. Doing too may KALs. But then again, maybe not. Maybe that means I'll give socks another try. Or just stick to KALs only and then not work on anything extra so I don't lose my motivation. What are YOU working on these days?
I am working on socks, and more socks. And not losing my mind this week... my midterm is due on Monday and it's 22 pages so far and I have 3-4 sections still to write, a couple more to tweak. But it will look great once it is done!
